Pets/Companion Animals

For travel within the United States, many states will require that your pet be examined and have an appropriate travel certificate - this is especially true if travelling by plane. Each state has different rules, and as part of the certification process, we will ensure that all state entry requirements are met.

For travel outside the United States, the rules can be much more complicated, depending on the destination. Often the process will involve multiple veterinary visits, the application/administration of medications, and the collection of blood tests to meet certain guidelines. In some cases it can take up to 6-8 months to complete the process. As part of the certification process, we will ensure that the appropriate tests/treatments are performed. Please let us know as soon as your plans include international travel so that we can arrange everything.

Horses

We can provide Coggins Tests and movement certificates for your travel, show, and sale needs. Please contact us to discuss and set up a visit.

Farm/Livestock

We can provide health certifications for movement, breeding, sale, and slaughter. The rules are different depending on whether or not there is an established relationship with your herd - so please contact us to discuss if you think you may need a health certificate written.

NOTE: In most cases, all health/movement certificates are now electronic/digital. However, you will receive copies of all paperwork.
